The Chevrolet division of General Motors produces a line of vehicles known as the Suburban. The nameplate has been in use constantly since 1934, when it was first used for the 1935 U.S. model year. It has long been one of General Motors' most lucrative automobiles. One of the earliest production all-metal body station wagons was the 1935 Carryall Suburban first generation. It is best car rental in Dubai. It currently features a full-size SUV body and is available with one of three engines: a 3.0 liter Inline-6 turbo diesel, a 6.2 liter V8, or a 5.3 liter V8. Up until the GMC version was relaunched as the Yukon XL, the Suburban was also produced under the GMC name. Additionally, it was temporarily promoted as a Holden. The Suburban has been a station wagon-bodied version of the Chevrolet pickup truck for the most of its recent existence, including the Chevrolet C/K and Silverado series of truck-based cars.
The Yukon XL is only sold in North America (exclusive to the United States and Canada; Mexico will start selling them in 2020) and the Middle East territories, while the Suburban is sold in the United States, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, and the Middle East (aside from Israel). In 1933, the Chevrolet Master provided a station wagon body constructed on a 1/2 tonne truck frame, which predated the first generation Suburban. The Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission first became available in 1953 for GMC vehicles and in 1954 for Chevrolet Suburban’s. Models with tailgates were labelled "3116," and those with rear panel doors were given the designation "3106." The Suburban was available in 1952 with either panel doors or a tailgate. A single seat on the passenger side of the front bench seat, which moved forward to provide access to the back two rows of seats. In order to enter the third row, passengers had to pass the front passenger seat and the "2/3" seats in the second row. Models from the "Canopy express" line were only present in this series.
