WSP are seeking a dedicated Contract Administrator to join our team and oversee the contractual aspects of an infrastructure construction supervision project based in Abu Dhabi.
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and compliance of contractual agreements on our infrastructure construction supervision project. Your responsibilities will encompass contract administration, change management, dispute resolution, and communication with project stakeholders.
Your new role, what's involved?
* Contract Management: Administer and manage all contractual agreements related to the infrastructure construction supervision project, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
* Change Control: Evaluate and process change orders and variations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
* Compliance: Ensure that the project adheres to contractual obligations, local regulations, and industry standards throughout the construction supervision phase.
* Contractual Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on contract status, change orders, claims, and other relevant contractual matters to project stakeholders.
* Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with legal teams and project managers to resolve contract-related disputes, claims, and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Document Management: Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documentation, correspondence, and communications related to the project.
* Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets and financial aspects, coordinating with project managers to control project costs effectively.
* Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
* Client Communication: Interface with clients to address contractual inquiries, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction with contract administration processes.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in infrastructure construction projects.
* Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal frameworks in the UAE.
* Must have experience of working on infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
* Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
* Knowledge of international contract standards (e.g., FIDIC) is preferred.
