6 Luxurious Resorts To Experience Around The Dubai

Glamour, glitz, and opulence are the only things to be found in Dubai. In addition to the world's largest shopping mall, there are all of the top designer labels, more Michelin-starred restaurants than you can shake a stick at, and hotels. Wonder full hotels. You know that feeling when you walk into a hotel lobby and stop looking everywhere, your jaw dropping and your neck clenching? Hotels of that kind. Although my days were filled with work and school runs, I still spent a lot of time in hotels because this is where you can find the best restaurants, and meet friends for brunch. I was fortunate to spend six years in great Dubai. Since I left, I have returned numerous times and had the opportunity to not only visit but also stay in some excellent hotels. As a result, I have compiled a list of hotels that meet a variety of criteria, ranging from those with the best brunches to those with added extras like a fun water par.

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The Burj Al Arab is without a doubt the most well-known hotel in Dubai. The sleek hotel in the shape of a sail is known for its extravagant luxury. It is located on a small island. Everything about this hotel is mind-boggling, whether it's the fact that the in-house restaurant's glittering ceiling is the largest Swarovski-crystal-studded ceiling in the world or the hotel lobby's 590-foot, 18-story-tall atrium with fountains and aquariums. You can stay in rooms that cost just over $1000 per night or in the Royal Suite, which costs $20,000 but gives you access to the stunning spa 490 feet above the sea, one or two of the 17 types of pillows on the pillow menu, and even the turtle hospital on site.

Pro Tip: During a guided hotel tour, you can take a peek inside and behind the scenes of this amazing hotel without spending a lot of money.

Atlantis, the Palm

The Atlantis the Palm, great Dubai, a massive hotel resort at the tip of the artificial island known as The Palm Jumeirah, is the twin of the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. A massive Dale Chisholm glass sculpture in the lobby greet you. There are numerous top restaurants on site, including the lovely Nebo, and even a luxury shopping mall. Most notable is the largest aquarium in the region, where you can swim with sharks and take a dive. There are also a few underwater suites with windows for a truly unique view. Unless you choose to stay in the utterly opulent Royal Bridge Suite, which spans the two sides of the hotel and looks out to both views, offers three bedrooms, a library, a lounge, a 16-person dining room, and butlers and chefs who are available around the clock in just under 10,000 square feet.at $30,000 per night, a steal.   

Pro Tip: The Aqua venture water park, which is said to be the largest in the world, should not be missed. The longest and steepest water slides, lazy rivers, and sufficient amusement for the entire family 0to go at least twice.

Bulgaria Resort Dubai

The Bulgaria Resort Dubai is an example of how luxury can be completely understated while still being everywhere. The elegant layout and interior décor, as well as the resort's superb location and incredible restaurants, are all created by the Italian luxury brand Bulgaria. You won't want to leave the resort in great Dubai. Bulgaria also designs desirable watches and jewelry. The design is elegant while remaining unpretentious and minimalist. And the little things are what make vacation so memorable, A woven beach bag with your initials on it will be sent to you, and you can use it right away or save it for later. You can take the driver of a Tesla car with batwing doors to the restaurants across the resort marina; the balconies are huge, have super-comfortable lounge chairs, and the minibus looks like an old-fashioned travel trunk. You can sample some chocolates from the in-house chocolate and take them home with you (if they last that long).

Pro Tip: A Michelin-starred chef runs a fantastic Italian restaurant on site, as does the excellent Yacht Club restaurant, which is ideal for lunch. The truffle pizza is a must-have for starters because it's so delicious.

Jumeirah Al Qasr

For a variety of reasons, the Al Qasr, or The Castle, is probably my favorite Dubai luxury hotel. The drive up to the entrance alone takes your breath away, and once you enter the lobby with its palatial 1001 Arabian Nights arches and enormous flower arrangements and leave the car by the fountain where golden horses frolic, the luxury will have swallowed you up. It's pretty nice when you factor in the lush garden with canals where you can ride an abra, a traditional boat, and the lovely beach with views of the iconic Burj Al Arab and the villas' traditional wind tower design. 

The best Friday brunch in great Dubai can be found here, as can my favorite Dubai restaurant, Pier chic, which is perched at the end of a pier with stunning views of the coast.Pro Tip: This hotel is one of four luxury hotels owned by the Jumeirah group that are all within walking distance of one another. As a result, there are a lot of restaurants and facilities to choose from.

Palazzo Versace Dubai

You will appreciate the unique setting of this luxury resort after your personal Bentley car takes you from the airport to the Palazzo Versace Dubai, where you can take in the typical Versace gold and swirly decor with the iconic Medusa's head everywhere, even in the pool. The Palazzo Versace is located by Dubai Creek, a man-made waterway that winds its way around great Dubai and passes by some iconic buildings. The Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, which is famous for its numerous flamingos, is practically right next door.

Despite its location in the city, there are three fantastic pools surrounded by palm trees and cozy cabanas scattered throughout for privacy. You can dine on Versace tableware at some restaurants, including one run by Michelin-starred chef Mansur Miamian. If you think you need more Versace design in your life at home, there is a shop that sells luxurious interior décor. This is one of Dubai's more affordable luxury hotels, despite its opulence, with rates starting around $350 per night.Pro 

Tip: You can get a free VIP pass to the Nikki Beach Resort and Spa for a day on the beach if the various pools aren't enough.

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai

The Mandarin Oriental Dubai property lives up to the company's previous reputation. This property, which is located along a private beach and has rooms with views of either the Arabian Gulf or the stunning great Dubai skyline, will make you gasp as you walk down to the beach from the lobby under lit metal trees. You are escorted through the garden across teak walkways and bridges to the cabanas and five outdoor pools by staff members wearing blue Fedora hats and frock coats. There is also a well-known Outrace and Techno gym with numerous classes for fitness enthusiasts, including boxing, yoga, dance, and a beach boot camp. 

Pro Tip: The hotel is ideal for a getaway to the city and the beach because it is close to both the city center and the Jumeirah neighborhood, which is full of cafes and small shops. However, you won't notice this in the resort because you will be enjoying the beach setting.
