People in the United Arab Emirates use dubizzle more than any other ads site. Since it began in 2005, dubizzle has grown to be the best place for people in their neighborhood to buy, sell, or find anything.

A neighborhood where things that aren't being used are redistributed to meet a new need and become wanted again; a neighborhood where non-product assets like space, skills, and money are traded and exchanged in new ways that don't always need centralized institutions or "middlemen." The company that runs dubizzle is called Dubizzle Group Holdings Limited. It also runs the biggest advertising ads for real estate in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Morocco.

The Dubizzle Group Holdings Limited merged with the Netherlands-based OLX Group in some key areas in April 2020. It was worth $1 billion, which made it a "unicorn." The group now also owns and runs Bayut in the UAE, OLX Pakistan, OLX Egypt, and OLX Lebanon. They also run a number of other sites in the Middle East, such as those in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Dubzzle has moved to the middle of the Dubai Design District, but Dubai's skyline has not. There's a lot more to come.
