Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Detailer specializing in Joinery and Fit-Out to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for joinery and interior fit-out projects, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery and fit-out projects, including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop and refine technical drawings and specifications.
- Review project documents to ensure accurate interpretation of designs and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, well-organized, and meet project deadlines.
- Support manufacturing teams by generating detailed shop drawings, material lists, and revisions as needed.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and comply with safety regulations.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback or changes in design or site conditions.
- Stay up-to-date with AutoCAD software and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and related design software.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Detailer in the joinery or fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, interior fit-out processes, and materials.
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs.
