Job Description

We are seeking a Creative Fashion Designer to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing women’s apparel that aligns with current trends and creates a strong market presence. As a Fashion Designer, you will manage the entire design process from concept to creation, collaborating with other designers, clients, and team members to deliver innovative and high-quality designs.

Primary Responsibilities:

✔ Design unique women’s apparel, keeping in mind current trends and market demands.
✔ Create preliminary sketches and detailed specifications for designs (color schemes, materials, etc.).
✔ Select fabrics, colors, and materials that complement design concepts.
✔ Draw and cut patterns, ensuring accuracy for garment construction.
✔ Sew sections of material to create mockups or garment samples.
✔ Test designs on models, making necessary alterations for fit and appearance.
✔ Develop and create garment care labels for final products.
✔ Identify target markets and demographics for your designs to ensure commercial appeal.
✔ Collaborate with sales, management, and other designers to discuss and refine design ideas.
✔ Use your creative vision to build entire fashion lines or contribute to a fashion house's collections.

Requirements & Skills:

✔ Proven experience as a Fashion Designer in apparel.
✔ Strong skills in sketching, pattern-making, and fabric selection.
✔ Ability to sew and create prototypes for new designs.
✔ Excellent creative vision, with a deep understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences.
✔ Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
✔ Familiarity with garment production processes and care labeling.
