Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed project estimates and budgets
- Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Review project progress reports and cost reports to identify potential cost overruns and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- At least 5 years in UAE of experience in quantity surveying and MEP estimating.
