Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan that is consistent with the goals and financial objectives of the company.
  2. Leads analysis of the competitive diagnostic landscape in Middle East & Africa including Star Metropolis position and aim for aggressive growth .
  3. Interfaces with corporate leadership, lab administration and pathologists concerning conceptualization, ideation, development and execution of sales and marketing activities.
  4. Identify, analyze and assist in the pursuit of pathology referrals in domestic and international markets originating from Clinicians, Labs and Hospitals etc. Ensure evaluation systems are in place to measure performance against marketing and sales goals and objectives.
  5. Manages the referral tie up process with the clinicians, labs, and hospitals in the targeted market space. Identify new opportunities within the referral networks for new test menu of Star Metropolis laboratories. Simultaneously tracks the sample volumes from the client lists including the variety of the samples and sample mix of the respective client. Tracks contract terms and renewal dates to ensure all the referral tie ups are current in nature. Negotiates tariffs for all renewals tie ups and new agreements.
  6. Reports to COO. Manage financial performance to achieve targeted budgets and provide explanations for the variances. Implement appropriate changes, enhance revenue
  7. Closely liaise with Human Resource management to recruit, retain, develop a qualified marketing and sales  team that support the mission and value system of the company.
  8. Supervise, track, evaluate and guide the day to day activity of marketing department personnel.  Conducts reviews for the team at regular and defined time frames. Ensures the team members are trained on policies, processes, systems, and customer service. Personally undertakes training programmes as and when appropriate. Create customer oriented environment through service excellence.
