Overview / Role description: As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's future by identifying and developing talent to fill critical roles. This role requires a deep understanding of the organizational structure and the ability to implement effective succession planning strategies. You will be responsible for conducting skills gap analyses, identifying successors for critical roles, and designing and implementing a comprehensive Succession Planning Framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Organizational Structure Analysis:
- Analyze and understand the current organizational structure and dynamics.
- Assess readiness for the implementation of succession planning initiatives.
2. Critical Role Identification and Successor Readiness:
- Identify critical roles within the organization.
- Assess and designate successors for each critical role.
- Determine the ideal ratio of successors for each critical role.
3. Skills Gap Analysis:
- Conduct a skills gap analysis for the current workforce.
- Identify required future skills for both current employees and successors.
4. Succession Planning Framework Design:
- Design and develop a comprehensive Succession Planning Framework.
- Develop associated policies and procedures for effective implementation.
5. Implementation Plan:
- Ability to assist in the development of a detailed implementation plan for the Succession Planning Framework.
