About Company

HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who was the master of Dubai from 1965 until his death, set up the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) in 1969. Being the first organization to offer religious and charitable advice is something IACAD wants to be known for. They value honesty, devotion, perfection, openness, and innovation.

IACAD's major job is to teach people about Islam and raise religious awareness in the area. IACAD is in charge of printing the Holy Quran, other holy books, and other types of media. It also gives fatwa advice, plans trips to Mecca for Haj and Umrah, reads religious books, and gives licenses to Islamic religious teachers. IACAD also takes care of churches and makes sure they are run properly by working with the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Departments.

Some of the most useful eServices on the IACAD website are online religious questions (fatwa guidance), help for new Muslims, a list of all the mosques in Dubai, prayer times, religious holidays, and accreditation for registered charitable groups in Dubai.
