About Company

The Dubai Municipality was founded in the early 1950s with three employees working out of a single room. Since then, the Municipality has grown steadily to employ more than 15,000 people in 32 organizational units, becoming the primary force behind the development of Dubai City as a whole. The Municipality has already fulfilled its promise to mitigate climate change, protecting and enhancing the environment, conserving public parks, and enforcing international quality standards in construction and building materials, food and consumable items, and municipal services regarding laboratory certification and accreditation.
