Saudi German Health is based on a rich history of the Batterjee family as medical pioneers in the Kingdom, with its establishment by the Batterjee family 35 years ago to alleviate the suffering of people and make a positive difference in their health.

Eng. Sobhi Batterjee, the Chairman of Saudi German Health, and Dr. Khalid Batterjee, the Vice President of Saudi German Health, founded the first hospital in Jeddah in 1988 and partnered with German University Hospitals to introduce the first levels of advanced German hospital care and experience to the locals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was such associations that inspired our name, the German.
