Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all IT activities within the hospitality industry, including hardware and software installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems, networks, and servers, and address any issues or outages promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs and develop strategies for implementing new technologies and systems.
  • Train and support staff in using IT systems effectively and efficiently, providing ongoing guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Monitor and maintain data security and integrity, implementing necessary measures to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of products and services.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and implement appropriate security measures to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Outstanding knowledge and experience of Networking, Firewall Configuration & Wifi Configuration.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in IT support or coordination, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess and resolve IT issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data security and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
