We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in refining machinery maintenance, process optimization, and HSE compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee equipment maintenance, efficiency improvements, and safety enforcement while leading a technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

🔧 Oversee maintenance of melting furnaces, chillers, compressors, pumps, and filtration systems
🛠 Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
📅 Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules

2. Process Optimization & Efficiency:

⚙️ Reduce melting loss and improve energy efficiency in refining operations
🔥 Enhance furnace operations, heat recovery, and chiller efficiency
🌀 Ensure seamless operation of conveyors, mixers, and cooling systems

3. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance (HSE):

⚠️ Enforce strict safety protocols in high-temperature environments
✅ Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and best practices
🌫️ Work with HSE officers to enhance air filtration and worker safety

4. Project Management & Research:

📊 Conduct research on advanced refining technologies and energy-saving solutions

📝 Prepare technical reports and proposals for process improvements

5. Consumables & Spare Parts Management:

🔩 Maintain inventory of crucibles, moulds, filters, and spare parts
📦 Work with procurement to source high-quality mechanical components

6. Supervision & Team Coordination:

👷 Train and supervise maintenance technicians and machine operators
🤝 Collaborate with chemists, metallurgists, and production managers
📅 Conduct weekly and monthly maintenance reviews
