Operations Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Specialist with experience in sourcing for the Oil and Gas field. The ideal candidate will possess strong local supplier knowledge and experience in procuring technical hardware, steel, pipes and fittings, valves, PPE, general consumables, and non-food FMCG products related to Oil and Gas operations.

Responsibilities:

✔ Source materials required for Oil and Gas operations, including technical hardware, pipes, valves, and PPE.
✔ Build and maintain a strong network of suppliers in the local market.
✔ Obtain pricing quotations and negotiate favorable terms for the procurement of materials.
✔ Negotiate payment terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
✔ Coordinate with the logistics team to manage incoming materials and ensure timely deliveries.
✔ Perform quality checks on all procured materials to meet required standards.
✔ Handle the management of returned items from customers.
✔ Ensure compliance with local sourcing regulations and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Operations Executive in the UAE.
✔ Proven experience in sourcing for the Oil and Gas field, including technical materials such as steel, pipes, valves, and consumables.
✔ Strong understanding of local suppliers and supply chain management.
✔ Knowledge of pricing negotiations and building supplier networks.
✔ Ability to work with logistics teams for smooth material delivery coordination.
✔ Relevant technical field experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
