Roles & Responsibilities

Understand Project Material Requisitions for Heat Exchangers, Shell and Tube, Air Cooled Units.

Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs

Research potential vendors and develop supply chain

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

Conduct market research to identify pricing trends / risks

Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices

Prepare cost analyses

Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

Shall able to understand and implement client specification.

Able to Handle sub-contractors and shall approve the procedures.

Incoming materials GRN.

Preparation of material traceability records and prepare test certificates.

Shall have worked with U stamp companies.

Review of drawings and Material specifications.

Preparation of in process and final documentation

Good understanding of ISO procedures and requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience – 4 & above

Qualification- Diploma or BE Mechanical

Excellent experience in Project material procurement for Heat Exchangers / Pressure Vessels and Fabrication Projects

Must have experience with sourcing from China, India, Korea, Europe

Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, ISO specifications for Steel products, pipes, tubes, plates, forgings, flanges

Read technical drawings, TDC’s

Good understanding of supply chain procedures

Hands-on experience with purchasing software

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Knowledge of market research

Solid organizational skills

Good understanding of Quality testing requirements.
