Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to handle our company's procurement activities. The Purchasing Manager is responsible on developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
- Performing strategic procurement activities across various spend categories, aiming to find better deals and more profitable suppliers
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timeline, etc.
- Ensures & verifies that quotations are regularly updated and supplier’s new current price lists are maintained
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Analyze market trends, forecast demand, and mitigate risks to optimize the procurement process
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Maintaining the supplier data, purchase records, and related documentations
