Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administering medication and insulin, and completing blood pressure, glucose, urine, and stool tests
- Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs
- Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient and changing dressings
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and ethical standards in home healthcare.
- Working with other healthcare professionals to create and follow treatment plans
- Monitoring the patient's condition, vital signs, wounds, and medications
- Providing education, support, and referral resources to patients and their families
- Assessing the physical, emotional, social, and environmental needs of patients and their families
- Writing reports and communicating with the doctor after each visit
