IT Systems Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in managing and troubleshooting IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Oversee Office 365 services, including Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Monitor and maintain server hardware.
• Implement and manage Hyper-V virtual machines.
• Configure and maintain external web servers.
• Upgrade server hardware and operating systems as needed.
• Maintain records of IT assets (hardware/software).
• Manage and update endpoint security software.
• Configure hardware firewalls for robust security.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows client OS and Office applications.
• Assist other departments with application-related issues.
• Support Apple iOS and Android devices for organizational services.
• Ensure regular backups of company data and implement disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with external service providers to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime.
• Liaise with IT vendors for purchasing and license renewals.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
