Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in managing and troubleshooting IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Oversee Office 365 services, including Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Monitor and maintain server hardware.
- Implement and manage Hyper-V virtual machines.
- Configure and maintain external web servers.
- Upgrade server hardware and operating systems as needed.
- Maintain records of IT assets (hardware/software).
- Manage and update endpoint security software.
- Configure hardware firewalls for robust security.
- Provide support for Microsoft Windows client OS and Office applications.
- Assist other departments with application-related issues.
- Support Apple iOS and Android devices for organizational services.
- Ensure regular backups of company data and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with external service providers to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime.
- Liaise with IT vendors for purchasing and license renewals.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
