Sr. Maintenance Engineer

Designs maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Carries out routine maintenance work and responds to equipment faults.
Diagnoses breakdown problems.
Fits new parts and makes sure equipment is working correctly.
Carries out quality inspections on jobs.
Liaises with the production department and other engineering colleagues.
Arrange procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.
Controls maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Monitors and controls maintenance costs.
Deals with emergencies, unplanned, problems, and repairs.
Improves health and safety policies and procedures.
Works with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery in the plan.
Writes maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
Ensures continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
Occasionally manufactures parts required for maintenance.
Makes improvements in the machinery to improve productivity in consultation with the production team.
Trains workmen on the right way of handling the machines to avoid breakdowns.
Availability of machinery and equipment for production.
Reduction in maintenance cost.
Increase the life span of all equipment and machinery.
Installation of new equipment as per the requirement
