The LaFerrari Aperta is the exclusive open-top variant of Ferrari’s iconic LaFerrari hypercar. Originally limited to 200 production units, the Aperta was delivered exclusively to pre-selected clients by invitation. An additional nine examples were reserved for Ferrari's 70th Anniversary celebrations, and one more unit was auctioned off, bringing the total count to 210 vehicles.
The Aperta maintains the hybrid performance of the original LaFerrari but introduces several engineering modifications to accommodate the open-top configuration:
Removable Roof Options: A lightweight carbon-fiber hardtop and a canvas soft top are both included.
Aerodynamic Enhancements:
Re-angled radiators now channel airflow beneath the car instead of over the bonnet.
An extended front air dam improves downforce.
L-shaped flaps on the upper windscreen pillars reduce cabin turbulence at high speeds.
Structural Modifications:
Redesigned door hinges and arches adapt to the open-top body style.
A new carbon-fiber insert enables altered door rotation for better accessibility.
The LaFerrari Aperta was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, continuing Ferrari’s tradition of using the "Aperta" name to denote its convertible supercars. All units were pre-sold prior to the public reveal, emphasizing its ultra-exclusive nature.
